The red files

The Red Files is an experimental book cover project inspired by film noir, crime fiction and the visual language of old detective stories. There was no client, no actual crime and no detective waiting for the final files — just my fantasy and will to explore a very particular visual world. I combined dramatic typography, photography and one very committed colour to create something deliberately mysterious and slightly suspicious. The result feels like a story you probably shouldn't be reading, but obviously will.
